Moyoni Africa Lodge is situated in a nice and quiet residential area, just a 20-minute drive from the center of Arusha. The property is nestled among small fields and lush greenery, featuring a large garden with fresh fruits and vegetables. Built on a hill, our retreat offers stunning panoramic views of Mount Meru to the northwest and even Kilimanjaro on clear days. Guests can enjoy the unique and intimate Tanzanian atmosphere in one of our cozy indoor and outdoor nooks scattered throughout the property. Our solar-heated pool provides a refreshing swim after a long day, while the sundowner rooftop terrace atop the poolhouse offers unforgettable sunset views of Mount Meru.
Our very attentive staff as well as the warm lodge atmosphere ensure a memorable and absolute comfortable stay. We offer 5 charming double rooms and 2 separate garden apartments, each featuring its own bathroom and unique African-style furnishings, which are handcrafted by small local workshops. Our glassware comes from the inspiring Sanaa project, where talented artisans with disabilities craft beautiful pieces, available for purchase in our little shop.

The ground floor leaves nothing to be desired for a relaxed and comfortable stay: an open-plan kitchen, a dining room with attached terrace and an indoor and an outdoor lounge area, both enhanced by an open fireplace. TV flat screens allow to watch news or sport matches. Surrounded by the green garden, our guests enjoy swimming in our beautiful spacious pool. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are located in the adjoining pool house. The roof-top pool terrace invites for the sundowner with a splendid view on the mountains.

Full breakfast is included in your room-rate, made on site with freshly baked bread and any egg variations, cereals, fruits, tea, coffee, juice ...
We serve snacks or lunch on request at lunchtime and coffee and biscuits in the afternoon.
3-course dinners are served in the evening by prior arrangement. There is a set menu, vegetarian or vegan options are also available on request. If you would like to eat out you will find a large selection of restaurants in Arusha, we offer a shuttle service on request.
Our lounge bar serves a variety of national and international drinks, including cocktails, beers, and soft drinks.
The lodge is about a 20-minute drive north of the centre of Arusha. Kilimanjaro Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. If you require an airport transfer for your arrival or departure, we will be glad to organize your shuttle.
Check-in starts at 2 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

Arusha is not a malaria area, due to its altitude it has the lowest malaria rate in Tanzania. However, please take precautions when travelling in East-Africa.
Arusha is located at 1.350 meters above sea level. The climate is subtropical, with a warmer period from October to March (approx. 15°–29°C) and a cooler period from June to August (approx. 14°-23°C). Precipitation amounts to 1125 millimeters per year: it is therefore quite abundant. It ranges from 15 mm in the driest months (August, September) to 340 mm in the wettest (April).
